Where do you source your CBD oil from?

Our CBD oil is made with organically grown hemp from our farm in Virginia and is 100% free of any synthetic or artificial ingredients.

What extraction method do you use?

We use Soxhlet Extraction — a process that uses organic cane alcohol and distilled water only and does not introduce any hazardous chemicals. This unique extraction method encompasses the whole plant and retains all the vitamins, terpenes, carbohydrates, flavonoids, alkaloids & polyphenols present in the original material.

Do you use a third-party lab to test your products?

Absolutely! Your pet’s health is our number one priority. We employ a third-party lab to test our raw hemp material before extraction and to test our CBD oil after extraction. We do this to ensure that our products contain absolutely ZERO contaminants and are 100% safe for consumption. Certificate of Analysis (COA) available upon request.

What is the difference between Hemp Seed Oil and Full-Spectrum Hemp Extract?

Full-spectrum or whole plant extract is made from the entire hemp plant and contains CBD, essential vitamins, minerals, Omega fatty acids, flavonoids, and terpenes. Whereas, the term hemp oil often refers to oil from hemp seed alone that is produced through a cold-press method and contains no CBD.

Is CBD legal?

CBD oil produced from hemp is completely legal in all 50 states.

Is hemp extract safe for my pet?

Cannabis is safe for all animals (including humans). However, if your pet is on prescription drugs you should always discuss it with your veterinarian before introducing ANY dietary supplement to their diet. Some compounds found in full-spectrum hemp extracts are known to interact with certain medications. Also, do not use CBD products for puppies, kittens, or pregnant animals.

Will CBD get my pet high?

THC is the compound that produces psychoactive effects. Our hemp oil products contain less than 0.03% THC and will not cause your pet to get high if administered in the proper dosage.

What dose should I give my pet?

You should follow the recommended dosage on our product labels. But generally speaking, the recommended dose of CBD is 5-10mg for felines and canines weighing less than 50 lbs. Whereas 20mg would be suitable for larger animals. Administer up to twice daily or as needed to your pet’s food. We suggest that you begin with just a few drops and gradually increase the dosage up to the recommended amount. See our CBD Dosing Chart for Pets for more info.

Can a cat or dog overdose on CBD oil?

Though rare, a dog or cat that ingests a large amount of tincture or extract may show clinical signs. Pet parents should also be aware of the possibility of THC toxicity in products that contain high levels of THC or synthetic cannabinoids – which is why it is so important to only purchase CBD products from companies who share their third-party lab testing reports.

Are there any side effects from CBD oil?

Side effects are extremely rare with proper dosing. All cats and dogs are different so, as with anything else, use caution. Watch for drowsiness or signs of an upset stomach. If side effects do occur, they will usually subside quickly. Stop giving your pet CBD if side effects persist.

Do you offer a return policy?

Refunds and returns are available for CBD products that are damaged during shipping. See Terms & Policies for complete details.
